Ceramics- Hand-building for Young Potters

Location: In-Person Class, Upstairs

This introduction to hand-building class will teach the beginning methods of creating ceramic pieces. In the first session, students will enjoy using clay techniques that include coil, pinch, and slabs. The second session will focus on continuing these techniques while exploring carving, stamping, and textures in pottery. Sessions don’t repeat so you can sign up multiple times with no prior experience. This class will work on different projects weekly, and in the last class we will glaze and fire all the work. Pick up of finished work the following week. Open studio hours are not available for these classes. Please bring your own hand towel and smock. Supplies are included.
