Books will be available for purchase and signing, and light refreshments will be served. Musical entertainment will be provided by Chandler Gadson and dancing by the Fresh Fire Dance Ministry. Here are the authors and their books, and a brief bio of each.
Angela Thomas Peterson is the author of This Too Shall Pass, a story of tragedy to triumph through faith. Miss Peterson is an author, educator, and inspirational speaker, with a strong passion for performing in dramatizations at church and professionally.
Sharon Althea Brown is the author of Awakened Awareness, a book of “profound truths in a human existence.” Miss Brown creates spiritual greeting cards and posters, and is a weekly blogger. Her writings highlight “how much we are asleep and our unconscious needs to be awakened.
Dr. Kerlynn Christophe is the author of five children’s books, her latest being, Dear God: Are You Listening? She writes to “inspire and encourage, promoting love and acceptance, to provide imagination and exploration, to elicit feelings and emotions, and to let my readers know that God is always listening.
George Gadson is the author of Art Psalms: Inspirations of Faith, Hope and Love Expressed Through Art and Poetry. Mr. Gadson is a motivational speaker, artist and social entrepreneur. This self-taught artist has designed an ornament for the White House Christmas tree and two South Florida Super Bowl bronze commemorative sculptures.
Carim Hyatt is the author of The Importance of Salvation. Mr. Hyatt is an insurance claims adjuster who is active in the music industry of the Christian Life Center. He is passionate about sharing the “Good News” with others.
Dr. Kemi Onayemi is the author of Listening to Those Little Nudges from God the Holy Spirit. She presents a “lifetime of testimonies, 50 years in the making, six years in the writing, with one prayer that others may learn to hear God as I have.
Samantha Porter is the author of The Adventures of Penny and Dinero, which teaches the importance of saving money and how children can make sound financial choices. Miss Porter promotes financial literacy among youth. Her motto is: “Educating Youth, Creating Wealth, Changing Lives.”
