Ayo Virtual Festival

Women in Music Ayo is back , just in time for the holidays, with an evening of uplifting entertainment for lovers of music & culture. We present a double bill of quality entertainment on a day which celebrates the 5th principle of Kwanzaa, Nia (Purpose).

Our purpose is to highlight the contributions of women in music, and we will start it off with an encore viewing at 6pm of the reggae stage musical “Power Game”, which first aired on November 14th. This event featured a Livestream of the play, and an artist panel.

At 8 pm, we present a Tribute to Women in Music, featuring performances from the following talented artists: Ettosi Brooks, playwright, songwriter, recording artist and founder of Women in Music; Marijah, world music artist; singer and cultural artist Maxine Osborne; percussionist Nany G and Shemana Dixon, actress, recording artist and entrepreneur.
