2015 JCC Maccabi Games & ArtsFest

Rarely does one receive the opportunity to be part of a movement that transforms the landscape of the community and impacts hundreds of people, particularly teenagers. Rarely does one get to feel the satisfaction that comes with bringing a community together to share in an intergenerational experience of a lifetime.

For the first time, the David Posnack JCC will host the JCC Maccabi Games and ArtsFest in the summer of 2015. This monumental endeavor requires the commitment of close to 1,000 volunteers, giving their time and opening their homes, for hundreds of Jewish teenage athletes and artists to engage in competition, workshops, performances and community service over the course of five days. During this time, friendships and connections are created, not just by the teenagers, but among the community members who participate in this event.
