Social Change in the Arts
On Wednesday, September 23 Broward Cultural Division hosted a marketing workshop featuring Marketing Consultant and Cultural Strategist Ola Mobolade.
Her presentation provided attendees with an understanding of the evolution of diversity in the U.S., important diversity milestones and trends, as well as current tensions derived from inequity and racism. The event also explored the changing notion of individual identity and shared culture, how they are being expressed, and reflect on the role of social change for artists, cultural leaders and organizations. Florida artist Sarah Page created visual lessons from Ola’s workshop. You can see all the graphics created from our Business Skills series on our Instagram page.
