COVID-19 RESOURCES FOR ARTISTS AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS
By Meredith Clements, Marketing Director, Broward County Cultural Division
In a pandemic, it’s hard not to feel vulnerable. And while things can seem scary with so many uncertainties ahead, we want you to know that we’re working very hard to help you get what you need to get through this most difficult of times.
Broward Cultural Division is committed to supporting the local arts and culture community and we’ll be continually sharing important information and resources with you. Please be sure to review the information below, which includes several links to local and national funding sources.

Please subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date, and also be sure to visit the new Virtual Events page on ArtsCalendar.com to find out what you can tune in to this week.
It is crucial for the development and recovery of art and culture businesses of Broward County that we receive accurate information from residents and business owners and operators. We strongly encourage you to fill out the following surveys so we can get an accurate picture of how everyone is operating during these times:
Answer this survey if your business has closed its doors to the public
Answer this survey if you cancelled an event due to COVID-19

We also strongly encourage you to fill out the following economic assistance surveys:
- Americans for the Arts Impact Survey for Artists and Creative Workers here.
- Americans for the Arts Impact Survey for Arts and Cultural Organizations here
- Florida Small Business Damage Assessment Survey here
Additionally, we encourage you to complete the 2020 Census if you haven’t already, as this accounts for annual funding in the arts and culture sector aside from COVID-19 relief funds and remains equally important for continued funding.

Updates on Broward Workshops and Funding
With funding more important now than ever, all our upcoming grant workshops will continue to be offered virtually. We’ve added new Opportunities for Artists workshops, which includes information on upcoming funding opportunities. Find current Division-hosted events here.
