Creative expression can sometimes articulate what words can’t, helping to bring complex or difficult thoughts and feelings into view thus providing a sense of healing.
This exhibition will present work by artists who are exploring the theme of healing, whether figuratively, conceptually, literally, or abstractly.
Have you used art as a means of recovery from an illness?
Have you used art as a way to deal with a personal issue or as a way to cope with an inner struggle?
Do you create art that might be soothing to someone who is dealing with a problem or illness?
Artists, art therapists, music therapists, and performers are invited to submit works that evoke the idea of healing for this interactive exhibit.
