Call-to-Authors for 2018 South Florida Book Festival


Attention published authors of non-fiction titles! The South Florida Book Festival Committee is seeking published authors for the 2018 South Florida Book Festival, scheduled for July 20th and 21st at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC).

Authors who have a book published in the following categories will be considered for addition to the South Florida Book Festival’s author line-up:

Dating and Relationships
Digital Marketing
Holistic Health
Home Improvement
Real Estate Investing
Music History
Hair and Beauty
The South Florida Book Festival is a highly anticipated two-day literary event that attracts thousands of people from all over South Florida. Attendees participate in events on various topics and purchase books by featured authors from our partner bookseller. Featured authors at past Festivals have included Tavis Smiley, Taye Diggs and Sunny Anderson. Stay connected with #SoFloBookFest.

Authors interested in being considered for the South Florida Book Festival must either email a digital copy (i.e. PDF) to or mail a copy of their published book to:

Authors must provide their name, email address and telephone number with their submission. The South Florida Book Festival Committee will contact authors if additional information is required. Deadline for submissions is April 6, 2018
