On November 21 from 5 – 7 pm, Business for the
Arts of Broward (BFA) will creatively transform a block along Fort Lauderdale’s
Las Olas Boulevard with art, entertainment and culture during the inaugural ART +
STROLL.
Presented by BBX Capital in the lobbies of
buildings 301, 401 and 450 Las Olas Boulevard, the free event will feature live
music, dance and surprise performers, painting by artist Lori Pratico, sidewalk
chalk art, and launch of Hoffman’s Chocolates 2019 Art Bars featuring art by
Golden, Judy Nunno, Lee Rossi and Lynda De Vita.
There will also be
an exhibition of artwork for sale with the proceeds split between the exhibiting
artists and Business for the Arts, a not-for-profit organization that engages
businesses and business leaders to advocate and educate about the importance of
Broward County’s art and cultural community.
A beverage and appetizer sample tasting in each lobby can be purchased for $15. Limited supply tickets are available at squareup.com/store/business-for-the-arts-of-broward.
Proceeds from ART + STROLL will support local
artists and help Business for the Arts expand its programming that encourages
support of local artists as a means of promoting cultural vitality, creative
success and economic development across Broward County.
