Biography : I was born in 1955 in Caracas, Venezuela. I immigrated to The United States 23 years ago. Initially, I was living in Oklahoma . Since 2007, I have been living in Bay Harbor, Fl. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1987. In 1988 I received a Bachelor of Literature from Pedagogico de Caracas. The same year I was awarded a full scholarship from the Venezuela Government for studying a Master in Art and Gifted Education at Oklahoma City University.  I finished this Master program in 1990.  I had several exhibitions in galleries and museums in Oklahoma City. I served as a visual artist in residence for Oklahoma Arts City Council. I was an academic curriculum consultant for Oklahoma State Department of Education and Board of Director for Individual Artist of Oklahoma, a nonprofit alternative space for artists.

Also I taught Art and Literature in various colleges and universities in Oklahoma, which included Oklahoma University and University of Central Oklahoma.  Simultaneously, I wrote numerous articles for Hispanic newspapers in Oklahoma, Texas, Miami and California. I published reviews, interviews and essays for academic journals included Revista Confluencias published by the University of Northern Colorado.
