Chelsea Rousso is a glass artist, fashion designer and writer, as well as a professor of fashion design and merchandising. She specializes in kiln-formed glass and holds regular classes and workshops for aspiring glass artists. Chelsea combines her love of fashion and glass into a unique form of wearable glass including corsets, bandeaus, and swimwear called “glasskinis” which have appeared on catwalks at the:

She was selected to present her glass sculptures at 59th and 62nd All Florida Juried Competition and Exhibition at the Boca Raton Museum of Art, Boca Raton, Florida. Recently, she was awarded Best In Show at the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta, FL. In 2019, she received an Honorable Mention in the Land & Sea Exhibit at the Broward Art Guild. She is currently the Artist in Residence at Weiner Museum of Decorative Arts.
She holds a BFA in Fashion Design from Pratt Institute and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard College. She is the author of Fashion Forward: A Guide to Fashion Forecasting published by Bloomsbury; now in second edition.
