A Creativity Outlet for Nerdy Adults. She's a registered financial service professional, a beaded jewelry artist and self-taught photographer. Born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, with a fondness for both breaking things to see how they work and creating, you'll find her driving around with a coloring book in the backseat... feeling that it's an effective way to unwind the mind.     Biography: Romy B. Jurado is one of the founders of Jurado & Farshchian, P.L. a business, real estate and immigration law firm. She focuses her practice on general corporate and transactional matters with an emphasis on corporate formation, stock and asset sales, contract drafting, and business immigration. Romy is originally from Peru and moved to the USA with the dream of becoming an attorney and entrepreneur. Romy earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Florida International University College of Law. While in law school she served as a Federal judicial intern to the Honorable William M. Hoeveler in the U.S. District Court in Miami, Florida. She is also a Stearns Weaver Miller Fellowship recipient and earned a scholarship from the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. Upon graduation, she worked for the law firm of Marko & Magolnick in their transactional/business department. She also previously worked at the law firm of McCalla Raymer in their real estate litigation department. Romy is actively involved in the community through her work as a Score certified mentor, and speaking at conferences to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Romy and her husband, Edwuar, live in North Miami Beach, Florida with their dog and three cats.
