Hollywood Playhouse

The Hollywood Playhouse opened almost 60 years ago in Hollywood. Although it is not recognized as a “historic” facility, it remains one of the oldest established theatres in South Florida. It has been known as “a professional theatre that offers an array of entertainment including Broadway and Off Broadway favorites, late night comedy improv, world premieres, children’s musicals, and occasional appearances by celebrities.” Going forward events will include in-house concerts, comedy, theatrical performances, live video and audio recording of original productions for worldwide viewing.
