Sri Prabha is a mixed media artist originally from Hyderabad, India. Sri’s early influences while attending Cornish College of the Arts and Mass Art include James Turrell, Bill Viola, and Mark Rothko. Sri has shown works at The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, The Deering Estate, Boca Raton Museum of Art, pop up installations at the Dupont Building, the Ingraham Building, and downtown Hollywood. Sri’s awards include the SESYNC artists’ residency, the Innovative Artist Award at Fraker Scott Gallery, and the Juror’s Award from Smithsonian Affiliate, Annmarie Sculpture and Arts Center and won the Ford Motion in Drive video award. He has taught video art at Film Arts Foundation and Expression Center for New Media in San Francisco. His works are in several private collections in Seattle, San Francisco, Miami, New York, Washington, DC, and Copenhagen. Sri lives in Hollywood and explores the natural wonders of South Florida. Sri’s studio is based at FAT Village, Fort Lauderdale and he loves studio visits.
