Now approaching its 34th season, Symphony of the Americas, a Broward County designated Major Cultural Institution under new Artistic Director, Pablo Mielgo, has been committed to serving south Florida’s multicultural population by thrilling audiences through innovative programming that combines classical music and other art forms to engage audiences through concerts and educational programs, while serving as a cultural bridge to audiences in Latin America and Europe with its internationally renowned “Summerfest”.
Symphony of the Americas’ mission is to enrich the cultural environment of South Florida and the Americas by presenting diverse orchestral music and international ensembles with world class guest artists on an intimate scale – taking a leadership role in fostering cultural relations with the Americas, through its summer music festival, educational instruction, outreach programming and unique combined partnerships in collaborative presentations.
