Jazz Museum of Florida, Inc | Jazzonian

Founded in 2009 as an educational cultural arts museum initiative by musician/philanthropist Bobby Ramirez, Jazz Museum of Florida, Inc (dba Jazzonian and South Florida Jazz Summit) was established as a not-for-profit public charity organization on July 20th, 2009. Effective date of exemption under the 501c3 status on July 20th, 2009. The mission of Jazzonian is to celebrate Jazz heritage, collect, document, preserve and present the rich Jazz traditions from its origins to modern-day variations through a permanent museum, virtual online and traveling art/photo/film and artifacts exhibitions, historical archives, recordings, literature, audio/visual experiences, interactive cultural education programs, live musical performances and special events for children and adults.
