Empress Addi/Rara Rock

The band:Rara Rock-a rock, Haitian roots fusion band of world beat goodness! The music is sometimes soft, sometimes heavy, but guarantees to get the crowd on their feet! Front man, Patrick's rugged voice is usually backed by Addi's harmonies to please the senses! You will hear influences of The Police, Hendricks, Santana, Reggae, Afro-Carribean/West African rhythms...Empress Addi is a sultry jazz vocalist that enhances the melodic aspects of Rara Rock! She is dynamic and talented enough to stand alone, with sounds of reggae roots, jazz scats,staccato beats, and melodies...she sings jazz, funk, rock and rhythmn and blues...as an extra treat, she may belt out some old folk tunes to either acoustic guitar, or simply with congas drumming...Their show is always exciting and fulfilling! Conscious music for EVERYBODY! Festivals, weddings, club reviews, and even private parties!!!
