ReThink and ReUse Center

The Rethink + Reuse Center is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 2003, that marries environmental awareness with early childhood education. The center houses discarded materials - such as bottle caps, cardboard tubing, PVC piping, thread spools and wine corks – from businesses and individuals in the community. The center provides training and workshops for parents and teachers on how to use the materials to help children learn interpersonal skills, sequencing, art, math, logic, and creative thinking. And, by collecting and reusing discarded materials we help fill classrooms instead of landfills! For more information about the center visit www.rethinkandreusemiami.org.
