Afro conTempo Dance Theater

Afro conTempo’s objective is to stimulate interest in the exciting traditions of Afro-Peruvian culture through dance. Using a combination of Afro-Peruvian and Contemporary Dance, choreographer Marcela Diaz looks to interpret a rich and unique culture through a modernist approach. Based in Miami, Florida, we are dedicated to promote, interpret, and educate audiences of the community and abroad through: -Theater Presentations -Cross-Cultural Festivals -Community Outreach -Private Shows -Workshops -Art Related Events
