The Old Davies School was designed by August Geiger and it was the first permanent school built in the Everglades in 1918. It is now the oldest school building in Broward County. It is now a museum that houses history of the pioneers' westward movement into the Everglades. Full of artifacts, photographs, articles, maps and historic items, this museum provides an incredible experience of the history that shaped the community.
