Ashanti Cultural Arts

The name Ashanti is a royal West African Tribe known for it's cultural richness and diversity. Ashanti has been serving Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Communities for over 15 years with classes and entertainment in the arts since the organization's founding in March 1990. Ashanti's mission is to provide communities with premiere classes in literacy, music, dance, and wellness programs.

      While visiting South Florida, I had the opportunity to attend this great performance, which I feel had something for everyone. The atmosphere was warming, educational and enlightening as the audience performed to a high level of excellence. Parts of the performance was a tear jerker for me emotionally as the characters perfomed with so much feeling and adoration. I am looking forward to the 2011 performance in deed. Collapse
