Chameleon

Chameleon aims to promote and foster a sense of community interest and commitment in the understanding and enjoyment of chamber music and related arts while educating the public through performance of the highest level in the relationship between music and individual well being. Chameleon aids in the advancement of different cultures and/or minorities and how they relate to chamber music art, by performing, presenting, as well as facilitating the creation and performance of new chamber music works.

      Chameleon’s 10th anniversary season continues January 29, 2012 at 3 PM Violinist Alla Krolevich joins pianist Misha Dacic and cellist Iris van Eck for an afternoon of trios for violin, cello and piano at the Leiser Center 221 S.W. 3rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33312(Valet parking available for a small fee) Single Tickets - $35, for Students - $15 … Contact us for subscriptions… (954) 761-3435, chameleon@gsta.net www.chameleonmusicians.org On the program are Beethoven trio opus 1 nr 2 in G major, Shostakovich trio opus 67 in E minor and Brahms trio opus 87 in C major. The original program with clarinetist Michael Norsworthy has been postponed until next season. Michael suffered a broken finger when a taxi door closed on his hand, which will keep him out of commission for a few more weeks. We are very happy that violinist Alla Krolevich has agreed to play the concert. Collapse
