Dance Now! Ensemble

Founded on Miami Beach in 2000, the Dance Now! Ensemble (DNE) is committed to the development of modern dance-theatre in South Florida. Miami Beach, the intersection of many ethnicities and traditions, facilitated the chance encounter of Diego Salterini, Roman born and trained Italian dancer and teacher, and Hannah Baumgarten, Juilliard graduate dancer and choreographer. The two bonded and their joint artistic vision is expressed through the brilliant athleticism and artistry of their 10-member troupe, hailing from three continents, schooled in various dance and theatre styles. Headed by Salterini and Baumgarten, who collaboratively choreograph and direct the company, and joined by Guest Choreographer Colleen Farnum, and Artistic Advisor Michael Uthoff, the Ensemble is committed to bringing dance and the arts to their community.
