The Pompano Beach CRA Business Resource Center is having a few events that we would love to see on your upcoming calendar of events!

1. On Wednesday, August 15th, at 50 NE 1st Street, Pompano Beach, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, our fourth ARTHALL Artist Reception introduces the community to its talented young artists. Join us at the Pompano Beach Business Resource Center and accompany our youth on their journey of self-discovery through artistic expression. They share their visions of themselves and their world using a myriad of art forms such as portraiture; collage; acrylics, photography and mixed media. From Blanche Ely HS, Pompano Beach HS, the art classes of Simone Spade, the Awaken Program at Taylor’s Closet, the McNair Community Center Summer Art Program (provided by Changing Directions 4 Youth) these young people, ages 5-20, offer us their interpretation of the sights, sounds and feelings of their daily experiences. Music accompaniment will feature members of the Mitchell/Moore Vivace Heritage Youth Orchestra. Join us for an amazing glimpse of the talent growing right in our backyard! Free with refreshments!

2. “Simply Networking”, our monthly business networking open house will happen on Monday, August 20th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at The Pompano Beach CRA Business Resource Center, 50 NE 1st Street, Pompano Beach. Instead of a formal program this month, attending businesses are encouraged to use the time to Simply Network – introduce, promote and connect! Free with light refreshments.
