    Clarita Filgueiras – Artistic Director, Choreographer and Dancer has been designated “The Keeper of Flamenco” in recognition of her commitment to presenting authentic, traditional Flamenco; creating new works; and developing young artists. She has committed her dance company to the mission of building bridges between cultures using the universal spirit of Flamenco. Flamenco Puro Dance Company was founded in 1999 by Clarita Filgueiras with the vision of developing a format where new Spanish dance and music could be created and performed.


    Prashant Shah: His long association, bonding, understanding and training for over two and half decades under the tutelage of Padma Bhushan Kumudini Lakhia, a world-renowned Kathak exponent, Choreographer and founder of the Kadamb Centre for Dance and Music in Ahmedabad, India makes him one of the outstanding male dancer in the Kathak dance style of his genre today. He has traveled and performed extensively all over Europe, Asia, North and South America. He is regularly commissioned by international choreographers for joint choreographic projects involving other dance styles like Hip Hop, Belly Dancing, Flamenco, Bharata Natyam, Modern and Contemporary as a dancer – choreographer and got rave reviews in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Times of India, The Independent, San Francisco Chronicle, Dancing Times and more.
