Our Third Annual “Juneteenth” Celebration

(aka “African American Independence Day”)

Our special celebration is a “free family fun day” with an incredible concert in the Amphitheater as our contribution to “Black Music Month.” We will host a fashion show, dance performances, live music and great bands. And, this year, we have added a youth and a gospel hour! In addition to the great staged performances by “Young James Brown,” Tony Wilson, Ike & Val Woods, Sean’s Dance Factory, and the KG Models, we have lots of other family entertainment. Our fun kid’s area includes face painting and more! And let’s not forget great food and merchandise vendors too! We will promote a commitment to healthy living by providing free health testing and screenings during our health fair from 5pm-8pm. We have partnered with community agencies, schools, businesses, supporters and sponsors to create a welcoming event that is rich in culture, education and community involvement. So please join us for the fun, the laughter, the culture and the feeling of togetherness for family and community alike.
