Join Bito David, Yanatha Desouvre, and Jael Auguste for an evening of inspiration, education and entertainment with an in-depth look at Haiti's fascinating cultural history complete with a visual presentation, poetry readings and music. Bito David, Public Relations Specialist for the School District of Palm Beach County will present a one-hour lecture on the artistic heritage and social history of Haiti. A selection of readings highlighting Haiti will be also be presented by Yanatha, a well-known author, educator, and motivational speaker. Accompanying Yanatha’s readings will be music performed by a local guitarist from Haiti, Jael Auguste. This free program is part of our celebration of National Haitian Heritage Month.
