Join us for an evening screening and informal dialogue as we spotlight a cinematic retelling of Diane Arbus's biography in Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus and screen Miami artist Antonia Wright's short film I Scream, Therefore I Exist.

Writer Erin Cressida Wilson and director Stephan Shainberg take an impressionistic approach to the story of Diane Arbus's descent into her iconic photographic practice. The story revolves around the fictitious relationship between Arbus and a socially awkward character suffering from an odd skin condition who acts as a catalyst for the development of her most recognizable work.

Being screened before the feature film is a short video by Miami artist Antonia Wright entitled I Scream, Therefore I Exist. The film comments on the freedoms and pleasures of life and the simultaneous duality of opposing realities.

Screenings begin at 7pm, followed by the FAT Village ArtWalk, from 7-11pm.

Tickets are available at the door for a $5 suggested donation, snacks and refreshments also available.
