Pre-School and Kindergarten Level



The Center’s Visual Arts Studio Homeschool Exploration program for children ages 4- 6 is designed to introduce students into the amazing world of art. Young artists will learn about color theory by working on an array of projects such as collage, painting, and handcrafted printmaking. These projects will help build and strengthen student’s motor skills while learning and having fun with art!



Elementary Level Grades 1 through 5



The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood’s Visual Arts Studio is a program in which students ages 7-11 develop a vast range of techniques by linking classical and contemporary art. This program provides students a practical approach to art-making by applying their imagination, creativity, and learned skills. Over the length of the program, students will explore both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed-media. The curriculum connects the Sunshine State Standards for visual arts, language arts, math, and history.
