    Broward County Poet-in-Residence Anastasia Clark presents: Our Poetic Tribute to Amelia Earhart. A series of 5 poetry workshops to inspire Broward area poets to create poetry inspired by Amelia Earhart who wrote poetry herself. Poets will be invited to read at Studio 18 in the Pines in April 2012 and their poems will also be presented to the Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum in Kansas, for display during April 2012 National Poetry Month.     Broward County Poet-in-Residence Anastasia Clark presents: Our Poetic Tribute to Amelia Earhart. A series of 5 poetry workshops to inspire Broward area poets to create poetry inspired by Amelia Earhart who wrote poetry herself. Poets will be invited to read at Studio 18 in the Pines in April 2012 and their poems will also be presented to the Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum in Kansas, for display during April 2012 National Poetry Month. Also, several Broward libraries will display the poems.

    Funding for this event is provided in part by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council. This project is also supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.

    Additional support is being provided by LeatherScrapBook.Com, Inc, WeMerge Magazine, Total Real Estate Consultants, Inc., Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale Museum, Purchon Travel & Logistics, LLC and The Friends of Stirling Road Branch Library.
