Cuban Musicians and Food with a Flair! Micheal Curiel Artist, Musician, Singer/Songwriter, Author

In August of 2009, Michael Curiel took his dream of sharing just a small portion of his music history knowledge of the Latin music culture and puts pen to paper publishing Latinoamérica: De Músicas y de Músicos. Born in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and having traveled what is called "the Antillas" which includes, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and most of the Islands, his love for Latin music led Michael to compose and play several instruments. Now living in Santurce, Puerto Rico he has slowly become the young rising star and musicologist of our time. Come by to hear Michael's "Havana Nights" series at the Venetian Arts Society, where you will sway to the tropical sounds of Cuban son "a la Buena Vista Social Club" and more...

Accompanying Michael is renown Venezuelan pianist Antulio Mora, Emilo Valenzuela on percussion, Joel Peña on tres and Ingrid Mayi on vocals all have toured the world with top Latin artists, a list too long to mention... except to the media and several celebrities of South Florida....
