    The schedule of performances is as follows:

    Monday, October 10
    Fort Lauderdale Historical Society
    Presents Gov. Napoleon Bonaparte Broward in Character and in Costume
    A Fascinating and Funny Performer/historian

    Tuesday, October 11
    Artists Jacklyn Laflamme
    Presents a Painting Demonstration

    Wednesday, October 12
    Venus Rising
    Multi-Ethnic women’s drum and dance ensemble.

    Thursday, October 13
    Nzingah Oniwosan
    Presents painting and Poetry Demonstration.

    An exhibit will also be staged, by Broward Cultural Division, in the lobby of the Government Center, with various displays of signage and education materials, videos and banners showcasing the many ways that the arts and humanities affect our lives. Arts organizations and communities are asked to recognize the many ways that arts and cultural performances enhance lives. More than 400 NAHM events are happening across the United States, so join in by attending the theater or other cultural events, taking a ceramics or dance class, or singing songs with your kids. Join in to this coast to coast collective recognition!
