The Girl Choir of South Florida, a vocal performance choir for girls, has been selected to perform at “Sleepless Night,” the all night cultural performance event to be held throughout Miami Beach on November 5, 2011. The Girl Choir of South Florida, one of only two classical choirs asked to participate in the event, will perform at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, at the 1111 Stage located in front of 1111 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach.


The Girl Choir will present a collection of choral works entitled “Joyful Noise.” The concert will include ancient to modern tunes from across the globe including everything from West African song and dance to Renaissance canons, as well as the music of Newfoundland, Israel, Finland, and Brazil.
