Miramar Cultural Center/ArtsPark presents Opera International’s performance of Giacomo Puccini’s La Bohème, an Opera in 4 Acts on Tuesday, January 24 at 8 p.m. A superb blend of story and song, this opera, that inspired the musical Rent, recounts the joys and sorrows of four impoverished artists on the Left Bank of Paris in the early nineteenth century. Combining humor and pathos, drama and lyricism, realism and romanticism, La Bohème features brilliant ensembles, sumptuous melodies and arias beloved by generations of opera-goers. This performance will have English subtitles.
