Fort Lauderdale, FL July 16, 2011 - Into The Rabbit Hole, a portal into the bizarre and exotic. A place where the hungry traveler can explore their inner voyeurism through the vastness of visual representation.



Come discover an alternate world through visual and performance arts at 1310 Gallery. It will be a feast for the eyes. Brought to you by the whimsical minds behind Niki Art Studio and Colabo Fingers.



Visual Artist include: Niki Lopez, Luzalma Gonzalez, Leah Brown, Brittany Smith, Christine Stone, Jah Linx, Maciel Vargas, PLA, Greg Dubois, Jonathan Hunt, Brandy Rumiez, BeartheBear, JanK, Parallax Squared, Idil Gözde, and MarcPaperScissor. Opening night performances include: Venus Rising: Women's Drum & Dance Ensemble, Alana DaCosta, Chaos Theory and Silent Stranger. Appitizers sponsored by Be Organic.



Niki Lopez is multi-disciplined visual artist and graphic designer. Her often 'other-worldly' art has been exhibited throughout South Florida as well as local and national publications. Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Alumni, member of the Broward Arts Guild, and Artspace’s Sailboat Bend Artists Lofts.



After swift landings from her space explorations, Luzalma Gonzalez, at times, makes art. Native of Puerto Rico, she currently lives, works, and plays in South Florida with an unidentified flying object of extraterrestrial origin, otherwise known as her partner in crime, and fellow artist, Maciel "Alois" Vargas. She is also co-founder of Colabo Fingers, a South Florida based Art Collective composed of international artists, photographers, musicians and designers.



1310 Gallery is located at 1310 SW 2nd Ct. (Middle St.), Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33312.



1310 Gallery is an artist-run collective that offers over 2400 square feet of exhibition space split into 3 levels, and housed within ArtSpace’s live/work facility, Sailboat Bend Artist Lofts. 1310 Gallery rotates art exhibitions monthly and also hosts performances and workshops.
