Serenity is the big screen version of the fan favorite “Firefly” TV show, a Joss Whedon production. In honor of all that is Joss, and to help promote wonderful causes, all proceeds from this event go to charity. We donate to Equality Now (an organization helping women and children around the world empower themselves against violence and oppression) as well as the local animal rescue organization South Florida Wildlife Care Center. We will have raffle prizes, a trivia contact, a costume contest, and the viewing of both Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog, starring Neil Patrick Harris (of How I Met Your Mother) and the movie Serenity, starring, among others, Nathan Fillion (of Castle). Lots of Whedonverse fun!

Tickets are $12 per person if purchased ahead of time, $15 at the door.
