Create a Jolly Roger - Ships sometimes use flags to communicate to one another. A pirate's flag, known as a Jolly Roger, was a call for you to surrender your treasure or keep your distance. Create a Jolly Roger and send a message of your own. Build a Pirate Ship - A good pirate ship was build for speed and had to carry treasure and cargo for a life at sea. Construct a ship and put it to the test by loading it with coins. Make a strong ship or your treasure will be lost to the briny deep. "X" Marks the Spot - Pirates used maps to record where they buried their treasure and marked the spot with an "X." Investigate maps while learning how they were made and how they have changes over the years. Create your own map and learn how to read symbols used. St'arrgh' Gazing - Imagine yourself on the high seas as a pirate navigating your ship using only the constellations as your guide. Explore how important the night sky could be to adventurous travelers in search of buried treasure. Scavenger Hunt - Grab your Museum treasure map and get started on your pirate scavenger hunt. Search for clues in the building and solve the riddles to win a fun prize.
