Staged Reading of Naked With Fruit by Meryl Cohn

Can three women who share the loss of the same love come together to heal? NAKED WITH FRUIT is a comedy about grief and the quest for love and family. Isabel and Marilyn mourn the sudden death of the secret third member of their intimate relationship. Marilyn throws herself into her work as a shrink; Isabel’s longing to connect leads her to desperate acts, including bringing home hit-and-run dates and befriending an unwitting Rabbi under false pretenses. Through a tricky road to recovery, the loss of a shared love turns out to be a powerful bond.

Reading at The Pride Center, 2040 N. Dixie Hwy, Wilton Manors, FL 33305. Admission $10. For more information call The Women’s Theatre Project at 954-462-2334. To purchase tickets go to womenstheatreproject.com.
