    The Myth of Power is A Juried Exhibition featuring innovative works by over 40 regional artists that offer insightful investigations into notions of power. Featuring 3 floors of sculpture, painting, mixed media, site-specific installation, and video art.


    Artist Lisa Rockford acted as juror for this group show. Artists were selected from an open call asking for individual conceptions of “power” in visual form. The result is a diverse range of artworks, whose imagery ranges from reactions to in regards to social doctrine, hierarchy, gender or racial inequity, or other forces of power, influence, including imagery of physical strength, heroism, idols, sovereigns, icons, etc.
