We all know weddings can be delightful...a wonderful party of joy and promise...fun for kids, intoxicating for adults and just idyllic for the lucky couple. And of course we all know in reality, they can be train wrecks with tremendous collateral damage.

And so that brings us to Bérangère and Vincent who are getting married, respecting all the traditions of bourgeois weddings and society events. Nothing could be more perfect, the church, the country chalet hosting the reception...the beautiful bride and the handsome groom. The distorting prism of the guests' points of view -cynical or funny, strained or moving - will reveal throughout the day everyone's shortcomings and the hypocrisy of the event: masks will fall and family secrets will erupt.

Laughs, tears, and revelations make this day anything but a piece of cake.
