Flamingo Gardens will host special night time walking tours into the “Lair of the Swamp Witch” on the Friday and Saturday nights before Halloween- October 22, 23, 29, and 30th, 2010 from 7-9pm.



According to legend, the Swamp Witches reside deep in the the Everglades, hidden by the thick Mangroves and Cypress. Seldom are they ever seen, except when they come fourth after the first full moon before all Hallows Eve...



The special night time event is sponsored by Spirit of Halloween (www.spirithalloween.com) and features live actors from local High School drama and art departments along with animatronic props staged throughout the Garden’s West Arboretum. Entry is to the West Arboretum of the Garden only, by foot, and not recommended for young children under 12.
