Open to the public, the Oct 20th program is a hands-on make it, take it class, sponsored by the Coral Springs Craft Guild.
Members and guests will learn the art of making a painted canvas candle mat. Candle mats protect furniture from the heat of the candle and can add a touch of whimsy to a room.
You can choose either an 8”x8” square or 8” round heavy duty canvas mat. You can choose a pre-drawn design or create your own. Samples will be available for viewing at the Coral Springs Craft Guild Fall/Holiday Show on Oct 8 & 9th.
Registration is not required but encouraged. Designs are limited; therefore registering at the Fall/Holiday Show reserves your choice of a pre-drawn design.
The canvas mats, acrylic paints, Sharpee permanent markers and designs are supplied by the guild; however the Sharpee permanent markers and paint brushes are in limited quantities so you are welcome to bring your own.
