If you love to sing and would like to experience the unique artform of barbershop singing for yourself, join the Women of Note and other South Florida Sweet Adelines' choruses for "Celebrate A Cappella Singing" on Saturday, September 11 from 9 AM - 3 PM. Enjoy a day of free vocal education and barbershop performances. Participants will learn a new song in a cappella, 4-part harmony, learn choreography and perform on stage with 200+ other women. You and your friends will be entertained by area quartets and choruses. You can see and hear what it is about Sweet Adelines and the Women of Note that transforms lives, provides infusions of energy and is far beyong the antiquated picture so many of us have of barbershop with four guys woodshedding under the barber pole! Come see for yourself - Sweet Adelines is breaking the barriers of tradition and stepping into the national spotlight!
