Gator Glam

In partnership with Sawgrass Mills and Billy Swamp Safari, Sawgrass Mills’ Gator Glam is a premier art exhibition held in honor of Sawgrass Mills’ 20th anniversary. Artists will have the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents on 7-foot-tall freestanding alligators and the Center will benefit from the sponsorship and auction of these alligator sculptures.This outdoor exhibit will promote the arts as it will be seen by thousands of area residents and visitors from around the globe and will engage artists and provide them with a memorable opportunity to display their artistic talents.

The Role Models fundraiser coincides with Gator Glam and both events will take place under the stars at The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills. Sawgrass Mills’ Role Models will pay tribute to the community’s most valuable assets. Prominent honorees include Andrew Cagnetta; G. Patricia Cantwell, M.D.; Laura Finley, Ph.D.; Sherry Friedlander; Jen Klassens; Neil Goldberg; and George Platt.

Join us on Thursday, October 7, 2010 for the auction of these gators and the Role Models event. Enjoy a special evening of fun and glamour with delicious food and spirits, live entertainment, an awards presentation, silent auction and more.
