“For the Birds,” is a photographic tribute to the birds of the Everglades featuring the nature photography of Dick Fortune and Sara Lopez. The beauty of Lopez and Fortune’s photography underscores the couple’s deep understanding and love of nature. Their images are unique and refreshing, capturing the subject’s essence and raw beauty. Their award-winning images grace the interiors of many public, corporate, and private residences locally and internationally. “For the Birds” focuses on images of Everglades birds and will be on display at Flamingo Gardens through the month of September. Join Dick and Sara for the opening of the exhibit on September 6 during the Everglades Bird Festival, from 9:30am to 5pm, when Dick will also be presenting a class on how to photograph birds in the wild.
