Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences at NSU Presents A Year with Frog and Toad A Year with Frog and Toad follows a worrywart toad and perky frog through a song-filled year of ups and downs as they awaken from hibernation. Every season brings new adventures, and the comedic pair does everything from planting a garden, to swimming in a pond, to sledding down steep hills; all while singing, laughing, and learning the true meaning of friendship along the way. This Tony Award-nominated hit, written by brothers Robert and Willie Reale, is based on the childrens’ stories Frog and Toad, written and illustrated by Arnold Lobel. October 8–10, 2010 Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on October 8; 11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on October 9; and 2:00 p.m. on October 10. Children of all ages are welcome. Along the way, she crosses paths with a variety of larger-than-life characters who help her on her journey of self-discovery. November 19–21, 2010 Evening performances are 7:30 p.m. on November 19, and November 20. Matinee performances are 2:00 p.m. on November 20 and November 21.
