Symphony of the Americas Beethoven Returns
January 11, 2011
Add Review/Comment
Did you know there was a symphony written for Napoleon Bonaparte? Did you know Bonaparte was inspired by the American Revolutionary war? Can you imagine a composer of music who cannot hear?
Beethoven takes you on a musical journey through the history of his era (1770-1827), while experiencing the "science of sound", the American Revolutionary War era and the political turmoil of the Napoleonic era. This performance features the Symphony of the Americas conducted by Beethoven (Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese in costume) himself.
