Come journey to the planets in our Solar System. See the spectacular surface of Mars with its 17-mile-high mountain and 3,000-mile-long canyon. Experience the violence of Jovian weather and explore the awesome rings of Saturn. Share in the legacy of knowledge of worlds unknown to man before the coming of the Space Age. (grade 7 to adult) Tickets go on sale 30 minutes before each show. Doors close promptly at show time and late seating is not permitted due to safety regulations. After each of our evening shows, there is always the opportunity to observe the real sky through a telescope at our observatory, which is located directly across from the planetarium. The observatory is free of charge. It is open every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00-10:00 pm. Cash and Check only.
