Word Up! Poetry Slam - Audition

Broward County high-school students: Step up to the mic and make your words heard at the City of Sunrise Foundation's annual poetry slam. No more than 30 poets can register to audition, and only 12 will be selected to compete. In preparation for the November 5th finals, those 12 poets will participate in free workshops conducted by Ray "Knowledge" Dominguez of the Write Side Poets - featured on HBO's "Russell Simmons Presents Brave New Voices."
