ArtServe proudly announces the launch of (InSIDE)/OUT, an open media/open theme exhibit set for display in the J.M. Family Enterprises Gallery from May 25th through June 25th, 2010. In true service, partnerships have evolved with local agencies like Children’s Diagnostic Treatment Center, Schott Communities, Easter Seals South Florida, Broward Children’s Center, Ann Storck Center, and ARC Broward to name a few. We are hopeful that this unprecedented exhibit by an artist organization will shift a focus to the value of the arts in positively shaping the lives of all individuals.
“(InSIDE)/OUT will promote creativity, independence, dignity, and community integration as we unite and enhance the lives or ordinary citizens and people living with developmental, physical, and psychological disabilities” said creator, Byron Swart. “This exhibit transcends all limitations speaking the universal language that is art”. ArtServe’s inspirational gift to the South Florida community will consist of a visual exhibition, a traveling children’s exhibition, and an opening reception which will include music, dance, and visual open theme/open media display from artists who would be considered “disabled” to the “outside” world. These courageous people teach us how to be real, and heal, from the (InSIDE/Out).

Opening Reception: Thursday June 10 from 6-8pm
